Welcome to Mill House Holiday Cottages

Unspoilt countryside, rolling farmland, wild flower meadows, numerous quiet country roads and green lanes and footpaths make this area perfect for an enjoyable ramble in the peace and solitude of the english countryside. Hedgerows, woods and lakes offer a haven for many species of birds and wildlife.

There is a abundance of stately homes, Belton, Burghley, Woolsthorpe, Castles Belvoir (approx 2 miles away) which offers coarse fishing lakes over 12 acres and Grimsthorpe. The historic city of Lincoln and ancient towns of Stamford, Boston and Spalding are just a short drive away.

Eaton is a very attractive village with many character stone buildings including a Norman church. Thomas Wright who lived in the medieval main street was born here in 1774 at Old Moore's Cottage. Wright made predictions for his almanack by gazing at the stars through three windows in the attic (Old Moore's Almanack).

The 17th century listed Millhouse is situated on the outskirts of the village in a beautiful, secluded valley along with the newly converted holiday cottages.

There are 2 pubs within walking distance that serve good food, a good village store at Stathern approximately a mile and a quarter away which is open long hours. Plus there is a Post Office and Butchers amongst others.
